About the Role
Part of this Global Group is the original manufacturer worldwide of aluminium roller shutters for use on fire engine trucks and they provide roller shutters for Emergency Service Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and Architectural Doors. This division of the company has grown the business and now has the requirement to extend its manufacturing team to accommodate the increase in production at this time.
In the role of Assembly Operator, duties will include:
To build, test and pack products
Ensuring compliance with company standard procedures
Identify and report any problems and make suggestions for improvement
Check paperwork against deliveries
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Having good communications and relationships throughout the company
To be successful for the role of Assembly Operator applicants should have:
Experience and practical skills in metalworking and / or general engineering
Ideally will have welder or fabrication skills – however, training can be given
It is ESSENTIAL that you will be competent in general engineering duties including measuring, drilling, grinding, oxy-acetylene burning and plasma cutting

Hours & Rewards
In the role of Assembly Operator you will work 40 hours per week and there is a competitive salary on offer.
